General Description

Benchrest competitions rely on rifle rests to allow for very precise shooting. Great for beginners, and to find out what a rifle is really capable of.

Positional competitions test the shooter’s ability to fire accurately from standard un-rested positions.  Quite a demanding discipline, with high level, international participation.

Field Rifle competitions use differing positions to simulate hunting type shooting. An enjoyable, but challenging type of shoot.

Metallic Silhouette competitions use steel, animal shaped targets at four distances to simulate hunting.  This is a favourite of young and old alike because of the immediate reaction of the targets when hit.

Military Rifle competitions utilise open sighted, general issue rifles. A great way to enjoy shooting old military rifles that have years of history behind them.

Elbow Shoot competitions are designed to bridge the gap for those who have shot benchrest
competitions, But who don’t feel ready to try full positional comps yet.
